Mumbai CST Foot Overbridge collapse .

At least six people were killed and 32 injured as a major portion of a foot overbridge near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station in Mumbai collapsed on Thursday evening.

The bridge collapse, on the busy Dadabhai Naoroji Road, was the third in less than 18 months in the maximum city.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announces Rs 5 lakh compensation to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to those who suffered injuries.

Out of six people, three are women - 35-year-old Apoorva Prabhu, 40-year-old Ranjana Tambe, and 35-year-old Sarika Kulkarni. The other three are 32-year-old Zahid Shiraj Khan, 55-year-old Mohan G Kaygunde and 35-year-old Tapendra Singh.
